Table toppers Biggleswade United were knocked off their perch as visiting third placed Colney Heath won by the odd goal in three to move up to second place. Taking over at the summit are Eynesbury Rovers who won convincingly at Arlesey Town, the visitors winning 4-0. Fourth placed Leighton Town suffered their second league defeat of the season as they went down by a solitary goal at Harpenden Town. At the other end of the table Wembley were hammered 1-6 at Leverstock Green while Tring Athletic picked up three valuable points from their 1-0 win at Broadfields United. Harefield United and Potton United kept up their hopes of promotion with both clubs recording home wins, the ‘Hares’ beating struggling North Greenford United 2-1 while Potton despatched visiting Dunstable Town 3-1. Elsewhere Edgware Town were beaten by the odd goal in five by visiting Crawley Green and Newport Pagnell Town recorded a 1-0 home success against Baldock Town.
