Previous bottom club Tring Athletic made in two successive midweek wins with a 4-1 win at Wembley. Oxhey Jets move into the top four as they swept aside Harefield United, the Jets winning 6-0. Dunstable Town eased their relegation fears with a second successive league win as they won by the odd goal in five at home against Edgware Town. Elsewhere Harpenden Town enjoyed a 3-1 win at Crawley Green behind closed doors while Potton United went down by the odd goal in three at Baldock Town. Congratulations to the youngsters of Winslow United as they reach the First Round Proper of the FA Youth Cup, the Buckinghamshire side’s journey began with a 3-2 win at Crawley Green, then a 2-1 win at Baldock Town, next came a home tie with Rothwell Corinthians which saw them leading 6-1 before the game was abandoned after 72 minutes due to a serious injury to a visiting player, the visitors conceding the tie. In the Third Qualifying Round they edged out visiting Hitchin Town by the odd goal in seven to set up a tie with Charlton Athletic.
